Xylitol reduces tooth decay.

At a recent visit, my six year old daughter?€™s dentist recommended that she use a toothpaste containing Xylitol and if she chews gum, one with Xylitol would be best. He pointed out that Xylitol use reduces tooth decay and I also noticed on-line that sugar free chewing gums and candies made with Xylitol as the principal sweetener have received official endorsements from six national dental associations.

I am bringing this up as a further recommendation for ?€?Total Green?€?, a protein powder many of my patients use, which I noticed has Xylitol as its sweetener. I have used ?€?Total Green?€? myself and it?€™s the only protein powder I?€™ve liked. Many kids actually like it and ask for it at breakfast. My protein shake aficionados like it better than any of the MANY they have tried. It also tests great on people. Now another benefit is to help decrease cavities! It is available from my office for $37.00 for a 16 ounce container.

Love,

Susan
